(Currently on Hiatus) In life, no one will be there to catch you. Cold, hunger, and loneliness are inescapable. From the moment he hatches, Sanguine must race against time. Whether it wears the face of winter's chill, a hunter's blade, or his own sibling's teeth, Death is a constant companion. There are no wise sages to guide him through the world. Even his own body and the power coursing through his veins is a mystery. The only way to survive is to trust his gut and learn on the fly. But for a Dragon, mere survival is not enough. They need to build a hoard like a human needs to breathe. Out of anything he could have chosen, Sanguine chose one of the hardest things to keep.Disease, war, and famine can take what is his at any moment. Each day, who will live to see the next remains uncertain. No matter how sharply your claws cut or how hot your fire burns, Death eventually comes for everyone. Sanguine refuses to accept that reality. It is in a dragon’s blood to impose its Will upon the world. If the world tries to take what is his, he will make the world his own. Whether it is mortals seeking to control that which they do not understand, or his own siblings battling for supremacy, Sanguine will fight until his Will is Law. However, all Actions have Consequences. A dragon will live long enough to see every mistake come back to bite at his throat.
