This is a compilation of stories and tales through the eyes of the shadow of Vinheim called Skuggi af Ahma. These stories are told from the perspective of the main character. It's a grimdark revenge fantasy, slow-burn, with mentions of a bigger story hidden under it after the events of the Regin Empire. The story unfolds in a secret lab, swallowed by shadows, where a dark group of alchemists, a secret order, weaves their power behind closed doors. In this world, through constant wars and disasters of nature or caused by the decision of their rulers, life itself is a commodity... flesh is molded, whatever little souls are left there are bartered, and failure is discarded like refuse. At its heart lies a creature born of their wicked minds: a successful yet failed intent of a chimera, who has gone through all sorts of troubles, has been stitched together by a peculiar alchemist’s ambition, with the idea of transforming his condemned as worthless failure into a successful weapon. Abused, tortured, and cast aside, Skuggi survives where none expected, after clinging to whatever little sense of living it possesses. After his escape, while looking at the bright side, something dark is being built within him, beginning as a void with the only goal of a relentless hunt. For those who scarred him after killing the one who gave him a heart, but it cannot do this alone; his enemies belong to a secret organization, hidden from the eyes of the world, known only to its members. Both creatures' paths are marked by vengeance and blood. To reach those faceless masters, they must first confront their doubts and fears,  throw away their morals, and become the weapon that they originally were planning on using. But a path of vengeance always comes with a cost. As the creature hunts, he discovers that his torment was not a simple side effect...
