The Covenant Of Steel: Progression Mech Isekai

"It is a world in collapse, one that has forgotten the stars and may just lack the will to gaze heavenward in search of them. The blend of science fiction, fantasy, mecha, and time-loop progression is handled with enough confidence to make the whole thing feel cohesive rather than cluttered. There is steel here. And with honing, it may yet shine." - Clone_V2, Bardic Planet, 3.75/5 - Full Verse Review He has died over 3,000 times trying to save what he loved, and every single time, he has failed. Lieutenant Altair has been trapped in a death loop for as long as he can remember. From fighting the Precursors, to watching his homeworld fall, losing his comrades, and losing Elena, his fiancée of over a century. No matter how hard he fought, the loop always dragged him back. Until the day an unknown Precursor weapon shattered the cycle. Instead of peace, he wakes inside his battered spider-class mech in a world already dying. Here the rain itself is a curse, rivers and bodies of water birth monsters, and the creatures known as Stygians have plagued civilization for centuries. There is no escape from the horror, not even in the water. Long ago, the Kingdom of Babel drowned beneath the black Styx, and its cursed dead never stopped dreaming. Those dreams became the Stygians and the world has been rotting ever since. He couldn't save his own world. But maybe, in this broken one, he can finally break free. Or die a thousand times more trying. Regular Updates: Three chapters per week. Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 4:30 PHT This novel is only posted on Royalroad and Patreon.
