Unfortunately, demons attacked during the high festival of Fiddlesoup, prematurely ending his plans to work for the empire. Whatever power gave him the ability to swap skills also gave him the problem of his lifetime. He is repeatedly looped through 'visions' of the arena getting trampled. Ludere might not be a sandal licked like his contemporaries, but he damn sure isn't going to let his friends in the arena die if he can help it.
