A Fox from Another Life is an Isekai anime-based story with a twist. A story about survival, adapting, and an ancient mystery coming to light with the appearance of a small unsuspecting fox. One moment, I was human... At least I believe so. If only I could remember my previous life, my name, or the world I lived in. All I know is I woke up in an unfamiliar forest covered in white fur, with four paws, a tail, and no voice to call for help. Waking up as a fox is not something I remember being. Stranded in a world that isn't my own, I soon find myself at the mercy of a hunter named Laura. A rare white fox she has called, Echo. New Chapters planned every other Monday! (If I miss a posting day, it should follow shortly after. Chronic health issues plague me. Fibromyalgia sucks!) Sometimes, a simple quest can lead to more than just a reward. Goblins, bandits, and poachers roam the area around the Kingdom of Penrith. The perils are endless for a fox. As I navigate this new existence, caught between survival and the bond forming between me and her allies, I begin to wonder... will I remain her silent companion, forever trapped in this body? Arc Two: Fate of Two Foxes A few months after the events at the fortress, Laura and our group continue their search for the truth behind the Scarlet Mages. Joined by Kiara, the two‑tailed futureseer, who is struggling to piece together her fractured visions, and how come the Scarlet Mages do not appear. How can she trust what she sees when those cloaked in Scarlet never appear the same within her foresight? Echo's growing confidence in this fox form and my place within the group have led us toward an ancient myth long-buried in time. As our group pushes forward, this small fox discovers that the trials ahead will demand the strength of every ally if they hope to survive and to thwart those who seek to capture Kiara. But as the light brightens over the past, we soon learn a harsh truth. The stronger the light, the farther the shadows reach…
