The Nexus: Gods on the Payroll

Being a God is expensive. Itsuki is a Nine-tailed Fox who just wants an easy life. Unfortunately, he lives in The Nexus, a world where gods are corporate slaves and Faith Points are the only thing keeping you immortal. He is smart, lazy, and morally flexible. He believes that a silver tongue is more powerful than a fireball (and much cheaper on the budget). But when glitches in reality start spawning monsters from urban legends, Itsuki finds his comfortable desk job at risk. Forced to team up with a serious Tiger god and a mysterious Goddess, Itsuki must navigate a treacherous landscape of office politics, divine conspiracies, and horrifying monsters. Can a liar save the world without going bankrupt? The Highlights: Wits over Power: The MC outsmarts enemies rather than overpowering them. Unique Setting: A hyper-capitalist society of gods. The Team: A Fox, a Tiger, and a Goddess trying to save humanity without violating company policy. Tone: Heavy sarcasm, breaking the 4th wall, and fast-paced action. This series is planned for 4 Volumes. The first three volumes will explore the individual paths of the main trio, converging into a final volume where their stories unite.   I will maintain the current release rate of 3 to 5 chapters per week.
