What is the Tragedy of the Titanium Tyrant? I’m glad you asked. It’s King Lear, only set in Latveria. Any questions? Okay, for those of you who aren’t fans of both Shakespeare and Marvel Comics: For thirty years the Titanium Tyrant was the world’s most feared supervillain, but plotting world domination is a young man’s game. When the Tyrant started to feel his age, he and his army of under-villains took over a Caribbean island and held it against all comers. For the past two decades the Tyrant has ruled his domain with an iron fist while doting on his children, planning to pass the throne on to them when they grow up. Now his wife is dying and he’d like to retire, leaving it in their capable hands. Just a few minor problems, of course - first, the kids aren’t really qualified. Second, the Tyrant’s lieutenants are the most ambitious, ruthless and merciless collection of cutthroats you’ll find outside of a horror novel. Third, there’s plenty of people from the Tyrant’s long career of wickedness eager to get revenge the first time he drops his guard... and, fourth, the Tyrant doesn’t want to hear any of it. There’s going to be bloodshed and there’s no stopping it. 50% superhero fight scenes, 50% elaborate plotting and feudal politics, with the full scheming of A Song of Ice and Fire all packed into one volume. Will your favorite character survive? Will any character survive? Read it and find out! The Tragedy updates Monday-Wednesday-Friday. The whole thing is already written, so the odds of it being orphaned are pretty low. Fair warning: The Tragedy has a large - but steadily shrinking - cast with rotating viewpoints. It does not have a specific protagonist.
