Minimum Wage Magical Girl - BOOK TWO COMPLETE

Being a magical girl doesn’t pay, but being her rival might.  Between working unpaid shifts at her mother's failing diner and struggling her way through senior year, Luc works as Magical Girl Gadget. Whipping up magical tools and fighting to do more than entry level jobs, every dollar she makes goes toward keeping the lights on at home. She doesn't have time for friends, and especially not rivals.  Which is exactly what the mage commissioner's daughter, Marie Blanchet, wants to be. In the middle of Luc's most recent job, the new magical girl shows up, scalps her job, and declares herself as Luc's rival.  Luc ignores it, until the commissioner gives her an offer she can't refuse. Luc doesn't have star power, but Marie does. He'll enter them side by side into the influencer fund, and pay her to be his daughter's rival. If she can make Marie shine, she has the potential to bring in bonuses that could change her life. She just had to be content with being the moon, not the sun.
