The gods chose me. Unfortunately, the gods are idiots. After her crew’s mutiny left Captain Nyx Hollow for dead, she woke with voices in her head—thousands of them, voting on her fate, arguing about strategy, and spamming “SOAP POWERS” until she developed actual consecrated-soap-based magic. She calls them The Whispering Deep. She thinks they’re an eldritch pantheon. They’re a livestream chat. She doesn’t know this. Now Nyx is rebuilding her legend through theatrical rituals, recruiting a crew of misfits (including a blessed rat lieutenant), and hunting the traitors who stole her ship. Her narration is unreliable, poetic, and soaked in pirate metaphor. She interprets upvotes as divine favor and emote spam as prophetic visions. When chat votes, reality bends. When her sanity drops, they love her more. This is a character-driven LitRPG about performance, madness, and what happens when your gods demand content. She talks to the void. The void talks back. And it won’t stop arguing in the comments. Features: ✦ Audience-driven chaos: Chat votes on abilities, crew, and strategies (she just thinks it’s prophecy) ✦ Unreliable narrator energy: Modern streaming culture interpreted as ancient prophecy ✦ Swashbuckling LitRPG: Progression system + pirate revenge + found family crew of misfits ✦ Meta-narrative layers exploring storytelling, agency, and parasocial relationships ✦ Dark comedy with existential themes ✦ First Person POV A fourth-wall-breaking Age of Sails LitRPG where livestream chat is an actual game mechanic and the audience drives every chaotic decision.
