Orphaned and raised in a community of demi humans in a society where they are treated as beasts, Ambrose dreamed of becoming an adventurer. She wanted to grow, and to send back money to her community so that they could prosper. On her 18th birthday, she is pulled from the village by a group of humans who are going to unlock her class, as is the way for humanity and other humanoid species. Ambrose awakens to the Mystic Bestiary Class, rather than a normal class and her life starts to get out of hand. Mystic Bestiary is an M rank class, the likes of which there are only 9 on the continent, making her one of the potentially most powerful people on the planet so long as she can survive and make it out of school and into the ranks of adventurers.
The rarity of her class alone gets her into trouble, but when the powers of her class are found out, her class and rank come into question. Ambrose is not simply given stats and some skills. She is given the ability to shift into, and mix, the Demi-human races, taking on their qualities and abilities rather than taking up class skills. With demibeasts being seen as inferior to the human species in her school and society, she is forced to come into contact with her fellow students as well as the harsh specieist beliefs of the race of people that believe that she owes them her allegiance over the people who raised her.
