An alternate Europe, fifteen years after an infamous night the world prefers to forget.A travelling scholar arrives in quiet towns, carrying obscure books and an unspoken family legacy. Unsure rumor, calls them the grandchild of a famed hunter, but they keep their real name hidden. When disappearances and strange deaths begin to cluster in locations around Europe, the scholar quietly gathers facts, helps those in need, and follows patterns that others miss. This is a measured hunt — careful, discreet, and determined to restore what the darkness took.Author's Note: I used Dracula by Bram Stoker as inspiration and other gothic horror stuff as well. I only used AI to fix up my writing and make it fit the era a bit better. Also I used Bram Stoker's journal like style, so if you don't like that type of style than this story is not meant for you.I also have to deal with school so my chapters will be infrequent. Though I will eventually get this finished. Also, the start of the story takes place in 1908 but technology will be roughly 40 years behind due to prevalence of magic in the past so technology will be off. And due to alternative universe stuff, I will use my own characters instead of historical ones mainly, but will have exclusively real locations.
