Reincarnation, royal legacy, magic, and arcane technology collide The memories of your past lives are restored on your 22nd birthday. How do you reconcile who you were with who you are now? 22 years ago, a royal mage betrayed the throne and Imprisoned the King in a magical prison. Later the same night, he was killed attempting to flee the capitol city, Freetown. Without him to break the enchantment on the prison, the King was doomed to imprisonment. However, in the kingdom of Regalis, those who die are reborn within the border the same day that they die. To free the King, all they had to do was wait for the Royal Mage's reincarnation. Charlie's current life is going well. She has a job she loves, a boyfriend she's certain is her lover from a previous life, and her own bed to sleep in a room she only shares with two other people. There's just one problem: her birthday is the same day that the King was Imprisoned. When a Royal Police Man shows up at her workplace to invite her to a celebration of the Kingdom's founding on the day of her birthday, she is caught up in the search for the rogue royal mage, whether she wants to be or not.
