Tales of the Three Kingdoms: Old Mulberry Soul

Fellas, I think I'm possessed by a tree… There are ancient horrors in our world. Faceless. Tentacled. A thousand years old or more. And one’s inside my mind. It’s called Old Mulberry, and as far as I can tell, it used to be a tree. But they say half the tree is beneath the soil, and not all is as it seems on the surface in the Land Under Heaven. For some reason Old Mulberry’s possessed me, of all people, awakening a great power no one knew I had. But all power comes at a price. Especially the ancient kind. And aside from its VERY HELPFUL YELLING in my head, it seems to want something from me. Something about a great darkness approaching. Something I probably won’t be able to stop without losing my own humanity. Now with every school of the Green Star theoretically open to me, if I can just make it through the day without starving, burning, or getting beaten to a pulp, I might just get strong enough to stop the Land Under Heaven from turning into a black, barren desert, devoid of life. Good thing my two sworn brothers are with me, one unstoppable and one immovable, both definitely overpowered.
