Jonathan would never have imagined this fate for himself. A lifelong fan and avid collector of manga, games and web novels, he had spent countless nights lost in fictional worlds; yet never, not in his wildest dreams, did he think he would one day become part of one.  Jonathan was the very definition of a jack of all trades, master of none. His repertoire was vast, his curiosity insatiable. Beyond his love for stories of heroes and villains, he was well-versed in chemistry, physics, and the sciences at large. Restlessness was both his gift and his curse; he simply had to know how everything worked.  At eighteen, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps. A year later, his talent and discipline earned him recruitment into one of the world’s most elite covert units: Delta Force. The military honed him into something formidable, equipping him with a skill set many would call lethal, even terrifying. For eight years he served, until he finally laid down his weapons and pursued a new path.  That path led him to the halls of MIT in Boston. There, his brilliance flourished. Upon graduation, his unique blend of intellect and military pedigree caught the attention of a powerful defense contractor. Their mission for him was nothing short of revolutionary: to design the world’s first nuclear fusion reactor for military use.  In all that time, his love for manga, his games, and web novels never wavered, in fact only grew as the world became smaller due to the internet and globalization. The future stretched before him, bright and boundless. Jonathan was destined for greatness.  But fate is cruel. Tragedy struck before he reached the prime of his life. For most, that would have been the end of the story. For Jonathan, it was only the beginning.
