Mark is terrified of water. Now he's stuck at sea. When Mark drowned at age six, he woke up in the hospital. When he drowned at age twenty six, he woke up in a different world. Now he's trapped on a ship crewed by half crazed pirates. The land is swarming with monsters, the sea isn't much safer, and magic always draws more things that want to eat you. Worse still, his arrival has attracted dangerous attention. The pirate queen Trist wants his blood, and the crew plans to hand him over to save their own skin. The system is useless, his spell list is worse, and time is running out. He's going to have to get creative if he wants to survive. Because no matter what, he's in more trouble than he can fathom. What to expect: LitRPG - Lite. There is a system, stats and such, but its not a "numbers go brrrr" story. Pirates. So many pirates. No demon girls, harems, or other well wishers. People die.
