“The Symphony permeates every aspect of the realm. It is the song of creation, the very musical notes hummed from the mouth of Avaerius herself. Everywhere you go and everything you see is held together by these very vibrations and yet it is a lie. Our existence itself is a lie.” Everyone can eat at the King's Table. Everyone can dance to the drummer boy. A cat may look at the king. In a world where gods are very much real and magic bends to the will of man. Kyla Alaroc leaves her peaceful hometown to seek her purpose in life while Reece White, a young amnesiac haunted by nightmares, aspires to master thaumaturgy in hopes of finding his lost sister. The world is, however, unforgiven. The King's Table might be large enough for all to dine but it is also vast enough for all to covet. The greed of man is endless but it pales in comparison to the greed of gods.
