Shepherd System in the Forsaken Lands

"I spoke to the devil in the Forsaken Lands. He told me everything would be fine."    When the life expectancy is a little more than twenty-six, every man chooses his reason for existence at sixteen years old. For the sake of the village, he must never stray from it. But for a single child, destiny was chosen from the moment he uttered his first cry. Solvanel, she named him,  The Light That Came From The Heavens.  Sixteen years later, he embarks on a journey to live up to his name. Eradicating the many evils of his world like the savior he was destined to be. And he finds that the worst thing in life is not silence in response to his prayers, but trying his best to change this forsaken earth, only to be changed and corrupted by it instead. Especially when it's the devil who's been watching this whole time.
