Behind the story of every legendary hero stands a team of thousands of Royal Assessment Department and Adventurer Welfare Council employees that made it all possible. RADAWC works tirelessly to provide countless high-quality quests sure to challenge even the wisest of heroes. As part of the royal decree to stem the growing number of villains, or Big Bad Evil Persons, RADAWC was charged with the mission to cultivate a path that leads to heroes and keep adventurers from getting bored. A bored adventurer becomes an evil one. Like most corporate drones, Keylynn feels neutral towards her job. Being an atypical druid, having a connection for fungi has brought her climb of the corporate ladder to a halt on floor five. Assessment teams on floor five are trusted with only minor assessments, mostly guild halls and other services provided to adventurers. A series of recent corporate restructurings has resulted in a series of authorization changes and a company-wide audit. If an audit was bad enough, Keylynn and her team will be sent to assess the cause of a complete party kill that occurred at a newly opened quest, a job that is definitely above their floor 5 pay grade. Throughout their assessment and audit, they discover a corporate cover-up and motivation to ascend the corporate ladder once more. The only way they can climb the ladder is to agree to conduct an audit of their own on Floor 7, leading to even more questions than answers. One thing is clear: the priorities of the Royal Assessment Department and Adventurer Welfare Council have changed. Join Keylynn and her team as they uncover the truth; they have both cookies and mushrooms. Cover artist: Mistyrune.
