The tale of a simple fisherman and father, and the depths he will tread towards immortality. Each day, and each [Season], Gao Fu would look upon the cultivators of Thousand Shore City with awe. Their grace, their [Spirit Beasts] and their freedom. It was all he sought for his children: to bond with a beast of their own so they might begin their path against the Heavens. But at the [Season's] change, ruination came. In a single stroke, his city is destroyed by the machinations of a peerless immortal, and Fu is swiftly thrust into this world that he knows so little about. Bloodied and unprepared, he is given an impossible task. Venture through the [Paifang] to [Mystic Realms] unknown. Become a cultivator. Serve the very Sect that holds his family prisoner. Struggle. Rise. Only then can he secure the future he so desires. For what is crisis if not opportunity riding the dangerous wind? What to expect New twist on classic xianxia. Weak to strong. Rags to riches.
