Tread and Sword

Dragon, meet Panzer. Returning home after conquest, Colonel Victor Steele and his battle-hardened mercenaries find themselves ripped away from their universe and stranded in a sadistic fairy tale. The wildlife has an appetite for human flesh, and magic is quite literally in the air, but it isn't Steele's first rodeo. With no way home and threats closing in from every direction, they only have one choice: Wage war for their very survival, and maybe a truckload of gold. But war isn't just fighting, and sourcing petrol in a world without electricity isn't easy. To keep the lights on and their guns firing, the Regiment will need to not only conquer but rule. There are alliances to be forged, princesses to be wooed, and industrial revolutions to kickstart. Great difficulties lay ahead; ancient empires, power-mad wizards and fireball-shooting dragons stand in their path.
