There were many things I expected to be doing if I made it to 87 years old. Joining an expeditionary army to another world was not one of them. But here I am in 2055 getting ready to be sent to the new world to see new sights, meet new cultures and fight eldritch abominations. If we fail, the world of Hylore will be destroyed, and Earth will be next. Death will be the luckiest fate for us then. I am getting ready to be placed into a pod and have my consciousness transferred to a new, younger body to be sent forth. Two waves went before us and failed. Now it's time for the old to feel useful one last time and maybe save two worlds. Author's note - This is not a story about an OP MC, hareems or broken skills. It's about a man trying his best and enduring the daily grind to save both the world and himself. Trigger Warning - This story will take darker turns. The MC will be in another culture with its own values, so be warned!
