The Girl Who Joined Infantry

A story about a not-so-simple girl living a not-quite-regular life. After a young girl from Howrah accidentally helps capture one of the region’s most powerful drug mafias, she’s given an extraordinary opportunity: to join the Indian Army’s Infantry Division as the country’s first female infantry soldier. This is the story of her journey—through discipline and danger, through teamwork and trauma, through friendship, love, and the quiet, unspoken weight of loss.
