Twenty-five years ago the Apocalypse came to Earth in the form of the Celestial Challenge System. Half the population was instantly killed, the rest were thrown into tutorials to learn how to survive. They could choose the Instructional Or Challenge Tutorials, which had a 25% survival rate. Those that chose that option would be Adventurers and when Earth was opened to the Multiverse, they would be the ones able to enter the Nexus, brave the Infinite Tower and help establish Earth’s future in the Multiverse. Nick Howell chose to be an Adventurer. He rose to be one of the strongest on the new Earth, leader of the Solace Territory. But the countdown is ending and Nick will take his first steps into the wider multiverse. Nick will now need to relearn what it means to be at the bottom of the ladder as he struggles to claim a space for Earth in the Multiverse while traversing the Infinite Tower to gain in strength, power and reputation along with dealing with the political machinations of alien Factions. At the same time still dealing with the challenges left behind on Earth. Rival Clan leaders, monster surges and new Multiversal threats. All while continuing his own Advancement because if there is one thing the Challenge System hates, it’s someone that doesn’t strive to challenge themselves.
