Everyone loves capybaras, but not everyone has a magical, talking capybara as a companion on a quest to save the world. Anika Elden had her future planned out. A college degree in data science and a healthy amount of video games - until she is magically summoned to another world full of magic and monsters where she is expected to take on the mantle of one of the five heroes of Etalen. Unfortunately, Anika’s past on the magically stunted Earth leaves her far behind in skills and knowledge compared to the other four chosen summoned from different magical worlds throughout the cosmos. Now, with the help of her gods-given capybara companion, Anika must learn to use her new found magic and become the champion  they need to save the world before a roiling dark magic causes a world-spanning catastrophe.
