The year is 2154. Magic is everywhere — woven into cities, taught in schools, and enforced by powerful sorcerers. Rin is a girl with no memories, no wand, and no understanding of the world around her. Found wandering alone, she’s taken in by a high-ranking Enforcer and placed on a path she never chose — one caught between the politics of magical elites, the scars of a forgotten war, and the slow, painful process of becoming someone real. As others fight for power, Rin fights to understand what it means to be a child… and whether she even gets to be one.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 50–149 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views over the recent window.
