Seventeen-year-old Siff longs for freedom from the strict rules on board humanity's last starship, but when she discovers brutal slavery hidden from the general population she is forced to make a choice: join their fight for freedom, or run to her own dreams and leave humanity to its fate. Join the crew of the mighty starship, Janus, and decide for yourself if hope is worth sacrificing for the sake of peace... The Constant Star is a completed, fast-paced sci-fi adventure about coming of age, betrayal, and the search for meaning in a broken humanity while enduring the ever-present threat of totalitarian government, and the violence of being hunted. Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 50–149 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views over the recent window.
