What happens when two playthings of the Gods decide they’ve had enough of it all? Nothing good, that’s what. Chase met a Hero’s end, fighting against the Demon Queen of his world in one final, apocalyptic battle. Unfortunately for him, it was only in his final moments that he realized how futile and meaningless it all had been, and how much he yearned for a chance to do it all over again. Fate smiled upon him for once, however, and out in the vast reaches of the cosmos, something heard his pleas, and deigned to offer him that second chance. A shame, then, that it came with many strings attached. Stuck in a strange and unfamiliar world, and in the body of a young child to boot, Chase seizes the opportunity given to him to live a life unburdened by having to become a great Hero.
