No Man's Wish

A nameless man wakes in a trench beneath a gray sky. Around him, artillery tears the earth apart, soldiers wield rifles beside magic, and everyone seems to know who he is. Kaizer. The name means nothing to him. Then he dies. And wakes up at the beginning. Every death gives him another chance. Another lesson. Another opportunity to survive what killed him before. But the trench is only the beginning. Beyond it waits a world of mages, monsters, unexplored lands, and powers Kaizer barely understands. Somewhere within it are the answers to why he is here, why death refuses to keep him, and why something in the darkness seems to know far more about him than it should. For now, answers can wait. Staying alive comes first. And Kaizer is getting very good at it.
