To paraphrase Hume... The identity of a person can be considered a system. The identity of a system is based more on the relationship between parts rather than the parts themselves. ------ "If that is the case, then what does it mean to keep those parts together?" James Delinion is a regular, but good man, who is transported to a grimdark cyberpunk world, with powerful magical abilities. Abilities that will make the difference for people who asked for one last chance to live a meaningful life. ------ This novel is meant to bring light to a traditionally somber genre. Cyberpunk. Providing a path to happiness for those people who struggle against the system and are typically forced to accept a bitter end, or at best, half-measures. To setup a place that they can be safe, while they pursue their dreams. If you'd like to see a traditionally grim Cyberpunk world get turned into a happier slice of life, then take a read.
