Earthgazer [post-apocalyptic mystery]

In the distant future, above an uninhabitable Earth, Heaven Platform Nine floats through the skies. Its ten thousand inhabitants live a simple, idyllic life under the watchful eyes of the Ashura, their eternal ruler. Every detail of each person’s life is optimised for long term survival, with decisions about their careers and even their partners calculated on their behalf for the good of all. Those, like Amane, who dream of the freedom to create their own destiny, can only gaze longingly from the edge of their world at the vast, boundless Earth beneath them from which their ancestors fled. That is, until the glider arrives. When Lara lands an ancient aircraft, bringing news from other heavens, Amane begins to understand that something on his world has gone terribly wrong.  He and his friends are thrust into the midst of a centuries-long conspiracy. If they want to escape a lifetime of servitude and crush the tyranny that suffocates their lives, they will need to do it before the ever-watchful Ashura and its servants, the blue-cloaks, discover their rebellious activities and crush their hopes. What to expect:  Twists, turns and conspiracies in a fast moving, plot-driven tale. An original, post-apocalyptic world as the backdrop for an upbeat, optimistic story.
