Beeg just wanted a job. Instead, he got hired at a cursed, goblin-run magic store—complete with a terrifying manager, a coworker named Stupid, and shelves that sometimes bite back. He’s overwhelmed, underqualified, and possibly doomed. But what starts as cursed retail slowly becomes something else:a journey through magic, mystery… and what it means to matter. Expect comedy, slice of life, and the occasional surprise dose of emotional depth. Book 1 is fully written and complete. Book 2 is underway. New chapters every Tuesday and Saturday at 8:00 AM EST. This is my first comedy. Also my first time writing in first-person. All I can say? Thanks for joining the chaos.

Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
Benchmarks: 8,060 active Royal Road stories, percentiles within the 50–149 chapters band, cohort of 2026-07-02. Conversion is measured as followers gained per 1,000 views over the recent window.
