🩸 STACY’S MOM GOT FANGS GOING ON 🦇 Supernatural high school was already complicated before Todd Hawkins became a paperwork problem. Welcome to Blood River High, where vampires have feeding waivers, werewolves have dress-code exemptions, ghosts have union protection, and the school nurse would really like everyone to stop turning routine blood tests into supernatural incidents. Todd Hawkins is seventeen, chronically underprepared, and supposedly some variety of half-blood. The problem is that nobody can agree on which half. When Todd’s routine compatibility paperwork comes back PENDING REVIEW, his senior year begins unraveling fast. His blood reacts wrong. Old supernatural systems seem unusually interested in him. His best friend Jessie can smell that something has changed. Rachel starts treating his medical records like evidence. Zara understands enough occult magic to know they should all be worried. And then there’s Stacy Evernight—smart, composed, vampire, and one of Todd’s oldest unresolved romantic disasters. Unfortunately, Stacy also has a mother. Veronica Evernight is glamorous, terrifyingly competent, very definitely a vampire, and capable of reducing Todd’s higher brain functions to a decorative feature simply by entering the room. Todd would prefer this not become relevant. The universe disagrees. Soon Blood River High is dealing with magical attraction gone wrong, supernatural compatibility problems, accidental bindings, prom-night chaos, impossible relationship decisions, were-chihuahua complications, and an old magical influence that is making it increasingly difficult to tell where ordinary teenage feelings end and supernatural manipulation begins. To survive graduation, Todd and his friends will have to figure out what is happening, what Todd actually is, and whether wanting something still counts when magic is pushing from the other side. Todd wanted a normal senior year. Blood River does not offer that program. Come for the vampires. Stay for the supernatural bureaucracy, terrible decisions, found-family chaos, and one increasingly suspicious teenager who refuses to fit neatly into anyone’s box. Both levers trail the field
Traffic and conversion are both below comparable stories. Cadence is the first lever — stories posting near-daily reached 25 followers 17% of the time; stories posting every few days almost never did. Get the flow going, then re-check conversion.
