Kally is cursed. Her toe is alive, bleeding, and deeply opinionated. Most people have coping strategies for existential horror, she has a running bar tab. When a mysterious cloaked man claims he can fix her curse, Kally finds herself pulled into a journey of chaotic magic and fractured memories where nothing stays stable for long. Accompanied by unlikely companions and far too many unresolved feelings and invasive visions, Kally crosses her dying world in search of answers she is not even sure she wants. The Toe’s Lament is a surreal, darkly comic tale of body horror, memory, and figuring out the importance of identity across lifetimes. Today though, she was in a different mood.
