Fate demands sacrifice. He offers defiance. Earth was forced into the Sarlenac Games, fifteen years later over and half of the population is gone. Culled by the System without mercy. Each year, thousands of gates open to different worlds. If they aren't cleared in time, ten percent of Earth’s current population dies. The System does not tolerate failure. Specialist Jimmy Novak is a low-level combat medic. Given the most basic healer class. When a routine gate goes bad, Jimmy makes a choice that stirs something that was slumbering. [Skill Activated: Respec on Death] With each death, Jimmy changes, new class, and new tools for survival. But the cost is steep, and the enemy is no longer just monsters beyond the gates. The System is watching, and the gods are stirring. In defiance of fate, one shall rise. The seventh of six. The cosmos shall tremble at their ascension. The path has been laid.
