Evolution After The Fall

Alexander Mar is a man with everything to live for. It's a shame that he's been struck by a strange new illness that's literally eating away at his body. Left with barely a few years to live, he agrees to undergo an experimental cryogenic stasis method being put into place by his fiancé's pharmaceutical company. Originally meant to sleep for only a few years, maybe a couple of decades, he is shocked to wake up an unknown amount of time later. Now stuck in a world he doesn't know, with mutants and monsters abound, he must find a path for his own evolution, to reach the height of power needed to find the answers he seeks. What happened when he was frozen? Where is the love of his life? How long has he been asleep? Why does it seem like this isn't the first time he was woken up?
