"I will burn down this world." Lucrisse Von Nova, a criminal of the highest order was sentenced to prison for life. She was a person blessed with intellect and an innate understanding of machinery. Except, without any Potential, she was destined to live a punishing life of misery. Time over time, others stepped over her, stepped over people just like her at the lowest ranks.  Eventually, witnessing the corruption of the galaxy hardened her heart. She clawed up from the bottom, killing indiscriminately till she had been crowned with the ashes of billions. Her war nearly ended with the detonation of the Zenith Star.  When her wrists were shackled, she hung her head low, accepting her fate.  She realized anger alone wasn't enough. Killing those who had wronged her wouldn't change anything.  Acting on impulses and emotion resulted in needless suffering.  At least she had tried, gave it her very all.  Thirteen years later, today arrived and she was granted a chance to escape. Perhaps, the stars had heard her wishes, seen her tears.  After all, it had been so long.
