THE HOUSE OF HUNTERS

THE HOUSE OF HUNTERS [ILE ODE] Damilare Odeniyi was born into a family of powerful hunters. For generations, his family has hunted supernatural creatures that exist beyond the comprehension of ordinary men. But Damilare is still a newcomer to this vast and dangerous world—a boy struggling to find his place among hunters, warriors, and the Awakened. He wants to awaken. He wants to grasp the power that has always remained beyond his reach, uncover the mysteries surrounding the Awakened, and discover the truth behind the supernatural world he has only begun to glimpse. But power always comes at a price. As Damilare takes his first steps toward awakening, his family becomes entangled in a deadly struggle against greedy nobles, the corrupt royalty of a neighbouring kingdom, and supernatural forces whose chaotic power reaches far beyond the affairs of mortals. What begins as a boy's desire to prove himself soon becomes something far greater—a relentless journey of growth, power, and survival as Damilare fights to protect his family and forge his own path in a world he barely understands. And in a world where hunters battle Demons and Awakened Beasts, the greatest danger may not be the creatures born from chaos, but the sealed ancient powers watching from beyond it. - Dark Fantasy - Action and Adventure - Morally grey themes and characters. - Aristocracy and social hierarchy. - A clear power system and progression. - A slow burn story.
