Fate is a fickle thing. Mir is a seventeen-year-old demon boy living at a human village at the edge of Za'lim. He is unwanted and has no family. But, one day, his village burns, and he is forced to leave. He doesn't know what to do or where to go. However, he gets swept up by a Paladin who forces him to follow her. What he doesn't know is that this sudden turn of event will change his life forever. Born as the abandoned son of the Demon King of Gluttony, Mir is about to stumble into a world which he wished he never knew. ---- What to expect: Slow burn (Expect Mir to grow naturally) Dark (No sexual violence. Only gore, slavery and other things.) Weak to OP (It will take time. Mir has a long ladder to climb.) Political scheming (Nobody can trust a noble.) Morally complex characters (No 2D-ishness. Characters on either side of morality will feel like real people) ---- Hey, guys! If you like the story, you can join my Patreon and read 10 chapters (30k+ words) ahead of release.
